The protection and security of personal data is a high priority for us. We therefore strictly adhere to the rules of the Austrian Data Protection Law (GDPR, DSG 2018, TKG2003). Below you will find information about the type of data collected and the purpose for which it is collected:
1. Data transmission / Data logging
When you visit this website, the web server automatically records log files that cannot be assigned to a specific person. This data includes, for example, the browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address of the requesting computer, access date and time of the server request and the client's file request (file name and URL). This data is only collected for the purpose of statistical analysis. It is not passed on to third parties for commercial or non-commercial purposes. Our web servers are operated by World4You Internet Services GmbH (Linz, Austria). All Internet traffic is SSL-encrypted.

2. Use of your personal data
We collect, process and use personal data in order to provide our services. Personal data is only collected or processed if you provide this information voluntarily, e.g. as part of an inquiry or an order, or if it is freely and publicly available. If there are no necessary reasons in connection with a business transaction, you can revoke the previously granted permission to store your personal data in writing (e.g. by e-mail) at any time with immediate effect. Your data will not be passed on to third parties unless this is required by law. We store these data as a minimum for the statutory retention periods.
3. Newsletter
If you sign up for my newsletter, we will use the data you provide to send you the newsletter with your express consent. We will use the e-mail address you provide to send you the newsletter. The newsletter contains current articles and offers from Mein Kompass. The newsletter is sent out irregularly, but never more than once a week. You can unsubscribe at any time. The newsletter is sent by ourselves without any third party service providers.
4. Information about, modification and deletion of your data
In accordance with applicable law, you can ask us in writing at any time whether and what personal data we have stored about you. You will receive a corresponding notification immediately. In principle, you have the rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection. If you are of the opinion that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection claims have been violated in any other way, you can submit a complaint to the Austrian data protection authority responsible for us (Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde, Wickenburggasse 8, 1080 Vienna).
5. Security of your data
Your personal data provided to us will be secured by taking all technical and organizational security measures so that they are inaccessible to unauthorized third parties. Your personal data is transmitted over the Internet using SSL encryption (recognizable by the URL "https://"). We secure our website and other systems against loss, destruction, unauthorized access, unauthorized modification or distribution of your data using economically appropriate technical and organizational measures. When sending very sensitive data or information, it is advisable to use the postal service, as complete data security cannot be guaranteed by e-mail.
6. Note on Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC (Mountain View, California, USA). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. 7. Cookies
We use so-called "session cookies" on some of our pages to make it easier for you to use our websites. These are small text files that are only stored on your hard disk for the duration of your visit to our website and, depending on the settings of your browser program, are deleted again when you close your browser. These cookies do not retrieve any information about you stored on your hard disk and do not affect your PC or your files. Most browsers are set to accept cookies automatically. 8. Social Plugins
We do not use any social plugins of any kind.
9. Picture sources
All image material (with the exception of the client photos, which were provided by them royalty-free) comes royalty-free from PixaBay respective from licensed sources.
10. Changes to this data protection policy
We will update this policy from time to time to protect your personal data. You should check this policy occasionally to keep up to date with how we are protecting your data and improving the content of our website. If we make any material changes to the collection, use and/or disclosure of the personal information you provide to us, we will notify you by placing a clear and prominent notice on the website. By using the website, you agree to the terms of this privacy policy.
